Heera · हीराVenus (Shukra)

Pure carbon, the hardest natural material — linked to Venus.

A diamond — a photograph of the stone type, not of a specific item
A photograph of diamond as a type — not the item you would receive. Every stone is individual; the one we quote you is photographed for you. AmberLocket, CC0

What it is

Natural diamond. Graded on the familiar four — carat, colour, clarity, cut. Laboratory-grown stones are chemically identical and far cheaper; we will always say which one is on offer.

What the classical texts associate with it

  • love and partnership
  • beauty
  • comfort
  • the arts

These are traditional associations recorded in the classical literature. They are not claims about what will happen, and nothing here is medical, financial or legal advice.

Certification

Supplied with a laboratory report identifying the species, the origin where determinable, and whether the stone is natural and untreated. The report describes the stone itself — it says nothing about results.

Choosing the right one

Sold by carat against a grading report. The distinction between natural and laboratory-grown is stated on every quote without being asked.

Looking after it

  • Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid household cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Store separately — a harder stone will scratch a softer one.
  • Remove before swimming or using chemicals.

Ask about this

We do not list a price, because no two are the same. Tell us what you are after and we will source it and quote for the specific piece — with its report.
