What it is
Nine clefts. Genuine nine-face beads are uncommon enough that a laboratory count is worth having rather than optional.

Choosing the right one
Sold singly. Nepali origin is the usual request at this count.
Looking after it
- Keep dry where possible; wipe with a soft cloth.
- Oil occasionally with a drop of mustard or olive oil to stop the bead drying out.
- Remove before bathing with soap or shampoo.
