1 Mukhi Rudraksha
Ek Mukhi · एक मुखीSun (Surya)
One face — the bead linked to Shiva himself. The rarest count, and the most faked.
What it is
A seed of Elaeocarpus ganitrus with one natural face. Genuine round one-mukhi beads are scarce; half-moon Java material is far more common and is a different thing, which we will name.
What the classical texts associate with it
- focus
- letting go
- clarity about what matters
These are traditional associations recorded in the classical literature. They are not claims about what will happen, and nothing here is medical, financial or legal advice.
Certification
Supplied with a report on origin and bead authenticity. Rudraksha is a seed, so no two are identical: shape, size and surface vary, and the faces (mukhi) are counted on the bead you receive.
Choosing the right one
Measured in millimetres. Because imitation is common at this count, we will not offer one without a report.
Looking after it
- Keep dry where possible; wipe with a soft cloth.
- Oil occasionally with a drop of mustard or olive oil to stop the bead drying out.
- Remove before bathing with soap or shampoo.
Ask about this
We do not list a price, because no two are the same. Tell us what you are after and we will source it and quote for the specific piece — with its report.
